Reese Private Residence January 19, 2008
This home was featured in Rev Hunter's book, "Haunted Michigan." The homeowner believes
that the activity may have originated from a castle in Scotland. After their trip, the homeowners experienced some unexplained
phenomenon such as a rocking chair rocking on its own, an apparition in the window, wind chimes jingling on their own inside
the home, and phantom smells. They also had an occasion where they heard a loud bang in the wall which vibrated so much
all of the pictures fell. Their computer printer has also printed a heart in the middle of the night and a small ceramic
frog appeared one day in the basement. The phenomenon does not scare the homeowners, they believe the phenomenon to be
a spirit or spirits with good intentions who are comforting.
Investigators did have some personal experiences and
feelings at this site. Although interesting for the group it was not considered evidence of paranormal activity.
Bay City Private residence/ Business
April 3,
2008
This building was once a family style home built in the
1950s. It is now a business on the lower level and an apartment in the back and upper level.
In the
apartment the owners report feelings of being watched, doors locking on their own, and unexplained noises in the master-bedroom.
The upstairs bathroom has window that is adjacent to the attic window of the home next door. People have the feeling
they are being watched from that window.
In the business, one area in particular is reported to be very
active. An area to the back that used to have the tanning beds has had incidences and makes people generally uncomfortable
to this day. The owner stated that it was reported that lights were turned off and towels were
thrown around the floor while people were in tanning beds in a locked room.
Investigators were Pat, Amy,
Marci and Tanya. The owners were also present. We investigated for 2 hours using digital voice recorders, digital
cameras, video feed, EMF detectors, and Sony night shot camera.
